i never felt comfortable when it rains, especially at night. with each pounding rain against the roof, i was never able to sleep peacefully. then the lightning would flash every now and then outside my window, they made my room brighter every few minutes. the curtains only blocked the flashes slightly, so that didn't help much. next come the rumbling of thunder, whether it was distant or near, it would always wake me up (cause you see, i'm a light sleeper). i find that fact rather, frustrating.

i only enjoy the sight of drizzled rain, not heavy downpour. heavy downpours' makes me feel somewhat nervous and agitated at the same time. so i had to distract my mind when that happens. i did everything from reading to baking to hearing loud music, just so i can ignore the pounding of the rain. i just had to distract myself.

when a lightning strikes nearby me or somewhere in my line of visions, i stilled for a few seconds and totally ignore it after that. i kept on doing what i did while ignoring at the same time.

right now, i'm doing just that, totally ignoring the rain, the lightning, the thunder. i busied myself with reading online fanfics, they seem to distract my mind of the present things.

as of currently, the whole house is quiet, except for the tapping of keyboards and the swishing of the fan and the croaking of amphibians outside. everyone is asleep, well, not everyone, i'm still awake cause i can't sleep with the whole rain ordeal; my lil' sister's not asleep as well, she's practicing on her piano keyboard; oneesan went out and the same goes to oniisan. okaasan and otousan is asleep. i suppose that they're tired from the functions they attended today.

I have downloaded a few mp3s today: a soundtrack from Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flower), The Flavor of Life by Utada Hikaru as well as a few Ouran Host Club soundtracks that includes Sakura Kiss (the opening theme song for the Anime).

I even hunted down a few Hanazawa Rui of Hana Yori Dango wallpapers, he's my most favourite character, then comes Domyouji Tsukasa. I like the quiet and mysterious Rui, I'd say he's my ideal type of guy to date with. Haha. He even plays the violin. I like a guy who can play instruments. I think that's a charming trait. Somehow, I'm rather picky. Oh well~

i've been reading a couple of Ouran fanfics for two days straight, since yesterday. I'm addicted to Ouran, so it's not really surprising that I'd waste my time to reading them, instead of doing something useful. These are my favourite pairings, in order:
takashixharuhi,
kyouyaxharuhi,
hikaruxharuhi,
tamakixharuhi,
kaoruxharuhi, and lastly,
mitsukunixharuhi.
So i searched for fanfics i like or ones that i might actually read, given that the fanfics would have a large number of reviews made by other readers.

So far, what I really liked most are Silent Attraction (a takashixharuhi pairing) and What Father Wants (a kyouyaxharuhi pairing). Both fanfics are made by the same author, I'll post the links to the fanfics later on (if they interest you), they'll be on the top left side of my blog, under Favourite Fanfics. :]
There are a few other Ouran fanfics that I like, but they're too short, like one chapter only. Silent Attraction and What Father Wants consisted of 20+ chapters, they'll be good to read, I can guarantee it. Unless... they're not your type of things to do. Wakata ne.

Now I'm sleepy. I feel and think that I should sleep early today. Well then, oyasumi minna~

in case you were wondering, fanfics are stories made by fans but they resulted in different outcomes as opposed to the original story. The characters are the same as the original, the settings and the plots, however, are different than the original ones. Hope that'll clear you up a bit, but if you're still not too sure, why don't you Google it up? Cause that would be a whole lot easier. (^^,)

Don't be surprised if I use a few Japanese words when I write my posts. I think it's gonna be a bit of a habit from now on. Besides, when I use Japanese, you'll also be able to learn a few new words, right? So when I learn, you learn too and we all learn together~ wouldn't that be nice? Hehe.

there's something about pianos that clearly interested me. when i have a decent job with a decent pay in the future, i'm gonna save an amount of money so i could get one huge grand piano and placed it outside my room. i might as well take piano lessons in the future. i'm so fond of pianos, they gave out such beautiful melodies. the way your fingers lightly glides on the piano keys makes me want to experience that myself. so, this will be my resolution and one of my goals. i'll save up my hard-earned salary in the future, so i could get myself a grand piano.

had dinner with the whole family a few hours ago, and i admit, it has been a long time since the whole family had a dinner together. i kinda like the feeling you know. everybody gets on with the program. we joked around, reminiscing stupid and hilarious things from the past, and talked about the present. it was Amy's treat tonight, for the Father's Day occasion, i suppose. i hope this thing will be a tradition for the family in the future, so we could all gather again as a family, not that i'm saying we're not a family. we're like tight you know. really tight. :D hahahahaha. hmm. that doesn't sound right to me cause it's so cheesy. *gave out a muffled laugh* but seriously, we are tight (even though it's cheesy to say so), cause we look out for each other all the time.

it's 11.18 and it's nearly midnight. i should be going to sleep soon. sleeping late every single day didn't really help to make the headache go away. i better sleep before my brain weeps because the pain from before didn't really go away. so i say good night, have sweet dreams tonight and don't let the bed bugs bite!

Happy Father's Day to all the loving Dad's in the world and especially to my Dad, I'm sorry for being such a bastard today.

Currently playing Restaurant City on FB. i feel like writing a story, but i don't know where to start. it's been playing in my head for a while now and i don't really have any idea on how to start the opening. i have this imagery in my head of which i've taken a liking to:

a grand white piano, sitting quietly in the corner of a small room. the sun's rays penetrated through the glass doors of that room, which made the piano glowed a little. as the sun slowly rises, the room is filled with a soft light which sparkled against the white marble tiles. outside at the flower garden, birds started to chirp to mark the beginning of a new day, butterflies of all colours started to hover over the flowers and the morning breeze started to blow, softly, gently, caressing each flower and each leaf with its touch.

the glass doors are opened, allowing the breeze to flow inside the room. sitting on the piano bench is a guy, whose fingers are gliding flawlessly on the piano keys. the melody given out was wonderful, it feels like you just want to swallow every piece of melody, every piece of note until your insides are full and filled with the wondrous beauties of the day. his eyes were closed, evidently enjoying every bit of his piano recital.

the girl was awed by his performance, but this was not the first time. his current piece was her favourite, a dedication the guy made for the girl...

and that's it! i've got no ideas anymore. maybe i should do one of my day dreamings again, cause that's where i got this idea you see. i think i suck at making stories but i can easily imagine how the story should develop inside my head. to put them into words, is the difficult part, for me that is. maybe i should find more ideas online or by reading more books. sigh. -.-

for now, i'm gonna go read some twilight fanfics. bye!

for once, i want to feel useful and be useful, instead of wasting most of my time in playing facebook games (ah yes, it's harder not to play those games too). so i did what i had to do: carry out the house chores, since i'm not doing anything at home (except fb-ing :p). when i woke up today, i decided, "hey, why not do something useful for once? everybody will be happy that way, i think." with that set in mind, i did my house chores; i washed clothes, washed the dishes, fed the bunnies and the chicken, cooked rice in case anybody got hungry when they get home, cleaned my room (cause it was starting to get rather messy) and fold the laundry. hmm. maybe i should start cooking lunch too.

basically, these are things i have to do daily, so everybody will be happy, everybody will be stress free when they get home (except when they have their own problems to deal with). nobody would start complaining if they see things are not taken care of in this house. nobody would tell me what i should or should not do (cause i'm getting pretty tired over that already and it directly pisses me off *winks*). no grumping, no complaining, no stressing me out. cause when there's grumping, complaining or stressing, it would, again, directly pisses me off. and i do not want that. i want my day to be stress free. i want my day to be complain free. i want my day to be tranquil.

so, let me do my responsibilities and my job, and do not get in my way, but if somebody wants to help, that would be highly appreciated.

i miss playing harvest moon on PS1. speaking of harvest moon, my PS2 HM game is not functioning. (-.-) and i loved that game too. damn it. why does it not function when i wanted to play it so badly? (T_T) i guess i have to buy a new one. man, that is such a waste. but oh well, for the sake of harvest moon, i will buy a new one instead. tralalala~

i woke up late today @ 11.35am. my head felt heavy earlier and i really didn't want to wake up any sooner. i just wanna lie in bed and sleep. but then, i have got to eat something sooner or later, so i had to wake up. strange dream i had last night. you know that feeling when you're stucked between two dimensions, i.e. the reality and the dream world? i had that feeling last night. my body felt rigid and i couldn't move a single muscle. i tried to scream but to no avail. my mind desperately screamed to wake up, of which i did, eventually. i checked my phone and the time showed 12.36am. i was really wide awake then and i had trouble sleeping back. so i plugged in my headset and listened to some music, to distract my mind for a while. it worked flawlessly and i fell asleep a few minutes after that.

the rain was heavy in the late afternoon, i didn't like that although the rain is able to calm down someone's nerves. the wind was strong too, and i didn't like that either (boy, i'm not liking so many things). i didn't dare to look out the window cause the storm scared me a bit. i never liked storms to begin with. they cause so many troubles, so many problems. but sleeping through a storm is a really nice thing to do.

i hope tomorrow would be a good day, with the sun shining and the birds chirping and the breeze blowing. with the flowers blooming and the butterflies hovering and trees fruiting. oh so perfect day~

I got 1000 PS coins in Pet Society daily lottery today!~ Yay! Yay! Yayyy~ That would be the second time and I'm absolutely happy about it because my pet is somewhat poor. Haha. Anddd I am also happy about this week's New Released Items! Today is Beach Day in PS. Weee~ I redecorated my second room with the beach theme. If only there were some shells or a starfish.. As those things would most definitely complete the beach theme. XD oh well~ I guess it'll have to do with the things I have in hand.

Let's update. I woke up late todayyy at 11am. I didnt really want to get up, I just wanna sleep in all day today. Hehe. But then, I got things to do, so I had to wake up eventually. Took a shower and ate breakfast, or brunch, since it was nearly afternoon. Made myself some french toast with baked red beans. Then played FB until 8pm. Hahaha. It looked like I had nothing better to do, right? :p i feel so... Jobless. Seriously.

Now it's about 20 minutes to 10 and i am sleeeeeepy. If this cycle of activities keeps on going, I might gain a few pounds. Yay~ XD Really, I feel enthusiastic about the idea of me gaining weight. Haha.

I wanna eat something mildly sweet and very chocolatey at the moment. What comes into mind? Cupcake! Or.. A moist chocolate cake. Either is fine with me but both would be better. Yes yes, I'm greedy for such a little girl, aren't I? Boooo! Haha. When it comes to desserts, I cant resist.

Getting reaaaaally sleepy now, I'll sleep in a few. *yawn*

I d/l a few Ouran episodes to my phone yesterday so I'll be able to watch them when my mind gets.. distracted.. with things. And of course, I even d/l the New Moon trailer. Haha. Maybe I should d/l Twilight's trailer as well.. What? Dont look at me like that! They're for my.. collections! Yup, thats right! Collections! Boo. You should know better by now that this obsession won't be disappearing any sooner. :p

finished watching anime, Special A, on anime season. this anime goes to my favourite list.

series information:
Title: Special A
Type: tv series, 24 episodes
Genre: comedy, drama, romance, school life, shoujo

summary:
Hikari Hanazono, the main character, has always been second to Kei Takishima. While Hikari considers Kei a rival and somewhat of a friend, Kei loves Hikari. Everyone knows this, but she is too dense to notice. Their wrestling loving fathers first introduced them to one another when they were 6 years old. Assuming that she was the best in wrestling, young Hikari challenged Kei to a wrestling match only to be thoroughly defeated by him. Ever since that fateful incident, Hikari swore to beat Kei in school grades, a sporting event - anything. To do this she has enrolled in the same school as Kei since elementary. Now she attends Hakusenkan, an ultra elite school, that costs her carpenter father a lot of money. Hikari and Kei are the top two students in the school, with Kei holding firmly to that number one position.


31st May:

MTV Movie Awards 2009 was shown live at Los Angeles and i watched it via live streaming @ Justintv. even though the live streaming lagged a bit, i still enjoyed every moment of it. the reason why i watched was because Twilight was being nominated up for 7 nominations and they won 5 awards only. these 5 awards include:
1. Best Fight between James (Cam Gigandet) and Edward (Robert Pattinson),
2. Breakthrough Male Performance by Robert Pattinson,
3. Best Female Performance by Kristen Stewart,
4. Best Kiss between Edward and Bella, and,
5. Best Movie of the year!
yes, we all know that when it comes to Twilight, i'm a freak about it. boo. :p

it was also during this award that the cast of New Moon, namely Taylor, Robert and Kristen, introduced, for the very first time ever, the official New Moon trailer. you can check the video here.

and also, if you like to watch the entire movie awards, from the very beginning to the very end, you can watch it at this link. the entire show is being divided into clips, so you have to wait for the next video to upload. dont worry, the next video will load itself up automatically, so you dont have to press anything except the "play" button for the very first clip.


also during the 31st of May, i completed watching Ouran Koukou Host Club and Fruits Basket. below are summaries for both the anime:

She's an instant hit, so they decide to have her keep up the charade even after they find out the truth. Haruhi, being average almost to a fault, doesn't know what to make of the unconventional activities of the Host Club (or of the even more unconventional members), but having little choice, she plays along. Before long, real bonds are formed, friends made, and Haruhi finds herself accepted in a way she could never have been otherwise in this affluent school.

you can watch it here. i really recommend the anime cause it's really funny. i like Mori Takashi's character in this anime. so yeah, watch it, if you wanna see it. but this is probably only season 1 cause the story continues in the manga. and i think, i'm developing another obsession. that's right, i'm obsess towards this anime! :p
